Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 has signed four framework agreements with some of the most competent territorial entities in the national sports events landscape: Comitato Coppa del Mondo di Biathlon Antholz Anterselva, Comitato Nordic Ski Val di Fiemme, Fondazione Bormio and Fondazione Cortina.
The Organizing Committee for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games has announced the start of a close collaboration aimed at strengthening the bond with the Event Delivery Entities (EDEs), entities operating in the world of sports events in the territories that will be the protagonists of the upcoming 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
The announcement took place at a press conference held at the conference room provided by Fondazione Cortina, in the presence of Milano Cortina 2026 CEO, Andrea Varnier, and the Presidents of the four EDEs: Lorenz Leitgeb, Pietro De Godenz, Matteo Bonfà, and Stefano Longo.
With this signing, the bond between Milano Cortina 2026 and the Games’ territories is further strengthened, aiming to tap into the know-how of local entities. These territorial excellences will, on one hand, share their experience with the Organizing Committee of the Games, and on the other hand, thanks to the Games, they will be able to enhance their skills in the field of sports events.
The EDEs will provide valuable operational support at the various competition venues, which, combined with the technical and organizational experience of Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 , will facilitate the achievement of the most ambitious goal: leaving Italy with a tangible legacy for the future.
