The soul of sports events

Volunteers are the very soul of great sports events, consisting of hundreds of people who dedicate part of their free time to contribute to the success of events. Fondazione Cortina is picking up the legacy of theWorld Ski Championships’ Volunteer Project with the aim of expanding it further, developing involvement and collaboration between the experiences already present in the area, with a view to 2026. There are numerous activities in which the involvement of enthusiastic and determined volunteers is necessary, in turn offering opportunities to experience the events 360°, with the thrill of being protagonists ‘behind the scenes’. Fondazione Cortina is also activating agreements with sports federations and associations, chambers of ski instructors, local schools and universities, in order to multiply the opportunities for collaboration in favor of young people in the area.
