A Sunday filled with games, inclusion, and sport: the CORTY Summer Games, held on Sunday, August 3 at the Zuel Sports Field, brought joy and movement to the children and families of Cortina.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., under the Dolomites sun, more than 100 children aged 3 and up took part in an exciting day of winter-sport-themed games, obstacle courses, challenges, entertainment, and—above all—lots of fun with Corty, the official mascot of Fondazione Cortina.
It was a special occasion to wrap up the educational journey started at La Rossa Cortina summer camps, where in the days before the event Corty had met the children for a reading of the book “Corty and the Snow Games.”
This moment was designed to bring the youngest closer to the values of inclusivity, teamwork, and Olympism in the run-up to Milano Cortina 2026.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this possible:
-
to La Rossa Cortina, for their enthusiasm and educational commitment;
-
to Beyfin, for their energy and support for the younger generations;
-
to Forno d’Asolo, for the delicious snack offered to all the children;
-
and of course, to all the families who joined us and shared such a special day together.
We played, ran, laughed, and had fun… and now we can’t wait to meet again soon to live new adventures with Corty!
