These are the numbers of the most produced and most exported sparkling wine in the world: 28,100 hectares of vineyards, 12,312 wineries, 1,189 winemakers and 360 sparkling wine houses, with an annual production of 627.5 million bottles, including 71.5 million bottles of Prosecco DOC Rosé, and a turnover of 3 billion euros (2021 figures).
