Founded in 1955 in the heart of the Austrian Alps, Atomic manufactures and distributes equipment for on-piste skiers and freeskiers, ski mountaineers and cross-country skiers, for beginners and world champions, and does so through cutting-edge technical innovations and quality to create ever-better skiing experiences. Today, it is an organisation with three production facilities, the largest of which is in Altenmark, three hours from Cortina.

The choice made by Fondazione Cortina with regard to Atomic stems from the importance and the numbers that the ‘three-pronged’ brand boasts – unrivalled in the world of winter sports and related industrial production – to build together initiatives and projects concerning the world of snow with a view to innovative and dynamic development.
