Dolomiti Superski brings together the organising committees of the international races hosted in the Dolomites, from alpine skiing to snowboard, skicross, telemark and cross-country skiing.

On the occasion of the Milano Mountain Show, Dolomiti Superski brought together the organising committees of the main World Cup winter sports races scheduled in the Dolomites for the 2026/27 winter season. Opening the meeting was Marco Pappalardo, Marketing Director of Dolomiti Superski, who presented the season’s new features and underlined the value of a joint presentation of the different international events, to certify once again the extremely high organisational expertise of a territory unique in the world such as the Dolomites.

Women’s alpine skiing was represented by Gianni Rasom for Val di Fassa Grandi Eventi, Stefano Longo for Fondazione Cortina and Danny Kastlunger for Al Plan Events – Kronplatz. Val di Fassa returns as a protagonist on the circuit with the aim of seizing every opportunity to confirm its role in the World Cup world. Cortina underlined the value of the shared work between the resorts and the fundamental role of the volunteers, with particular attention to athlete safety. In Plan de Corones, on the other hand, despite only one race on Tuesday, the programme starts as early as Sunday and also involves Brunico, where the bib draw is scheduled, with the aim of progressively expanding the event experience beyond race day.

For men’s alpine skiing, the speakers were Hannes Kröss for Val Gardena and Andy Varallo, President of SkiWorldcup Alta Badia. Val Gardena also looked ahead to the road towards the 2031 World Championships: FIS races are already scheduled this season on the slopes destined for the future world championship competitions, important tests ahead of the world event. Alta Badia, alongside the traditional giant slalom on the Gran Risa, presented the new night slalom scheduled for Monday.

The floor then went to snowboard and telemark with Stefano Longo for Cortina, Enrico Da Rin for Carezza and Karoline Pichler for the Carezza telemark. Cortina presented its night event, particularly appealing also to younger audiences and supported by the collaboration with the Snowboard Club Cortina. Carezza highlighted the technical characteristics of its slope and the results achieved by Italian athletes, while telemark returns for the fifth time with a World Cup that combines gates, jumps and free-heel technique, giving visibility to a niche discipline that is nonetheless capable of engaging the public.

Next, Christian Tschurtschenthaler for Skicross 3 Zinnen and Ugo Fracasso for Val di Fassa Grandi Eventi presented the skicross events. San Candido, considered one of the cradles of the discipline, hosts four races for the 17th edition, backed by significant investment in snowmaking and a highly spectacular format that is also followed on television. Val di Fassa, at its third edition, is continuing a path begun ten years ago in collaboration with FISI.

Closing the presentation, Pietro De Godenz of FiemmeWorldCup brought the cross-country skiing World Cup and the Tour de Ski in Val di Fiemme to the stage. The valley, rightly considered the cradle of cross-country skiing in Italy, can count on important numbers both in terms of events and international visibility: the Olympic experience represented a fundamental step, now to be consolidated and enhanced for the future as well.

A calendar that unites different disciplines, territories and organising committees under a single framework and confirms the Dolomites as one of the great international stages of winter sports.
